All our funeral homes have private Chapels of Rest, providing a peaceful space for family and friends to visit their loved one before the funeral.
During the funeral arrangement meeting, we will ask whether you would like the deceased to be placed in the Chapel of Rest for viewing. Our chapels are designed to offer a quiet and dignified setting for these moments of reflection.
We take great care to ensure your loved one looks peaceful and at rest. You can discuss with us how you would like them to be dressed, and we will do our best to follow your wishes. Small details, such as hair and makeup, can make a significant difference in preserving a familiar appearance, and we will make every effort to honour your preferences.
We will arrange suitable viewing times with you. Once your loved one is in the Chapel of Rest, visits can take place during office hours without an appointment, or we can schedule a visit outside of these hours if needed. If necessary, access can be limited to certain individuals.
If you wish, and if circumstances allow, we can bring your loved one home the day before or on the morning of the funeral. Please let us know if this is something you would like us to arrange.
